Hi! My name is Ksenia (/'ksɛ-niːə/ or Kah-SEN-ee-yah), and I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the State University of New York at New Paltz. My research sits at the intersection of emerging technologies and social impact. I explore how consumers interact with technology and how these interactions affect consumers' perceptions, emotions, and decision-making. Especially, I am interested in: (1) understanding how technology influences consumer behaviour, (2) exploring how technology can enhance consumer well-being, and (3) identifying how we can utilize technology to benefit society.
I earned my Ph.D. in Marketing from Drexel University, my MScM and BComm in Retail Management from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), and my BSc in Life Sciences from the University of Toronto.
